The Application Process for Sweden Tourist Visa
Figure out if you need a visa or not

Complete the Sweden Tourist Visa application form
You have to complete the online form and could get it from the Sweden embassy in your country. Complete, sign, and date it. Keep it until you deliver it to the officials during your interview. Please be cautious while you complete it.
Gather the required documents
Now you should collect the required documents. Please remember the Schengen visa has high credibility, but the states are strict with their regulations and laws. So don’t take anything easy. Pay attention to even small details.
Book a visa appointment
When you gather all the requirements, you should arrange an appointment. You should get one to the Swedish:
- Embassy
- Consulate
- or a visa center authorized by the Swedish government.
Attend the appointment
Once the time comes, participate in the appointment. Please get there on time. You should submit the application and the required documents to the Swedish officials. Then you should pass an interview. The Swedish visa officer will ask you a few questions about your background and the purpose of your trip. Please be confident, friendly, and give honest answers. The fate of your visa rides on this interview. If officials suspect you have illegal intentions, they won’t issue the visa.
Pay the fees
You must pay the visa for the Sweden tourist visa application. The fee for adults is €80. You should check whether the embassy/consulate you apply to accept cash/credit card. The tourist visa’s cost for 6-12 children is €40. Under six children are visa-free.
Wait for processing
At this step, you have to wait until your application gets processed. It often takes about 15 days for a Sweden tourist visa to get processed. If your application gets accepted, the officials will send you the visa stuck on your passport. If not, they will inform you through a letter explaining the reason.
Sweden Tourist Visa Interview Questions
