Yes, as a NZ resident with an Indian passport, you can apply for a Malaysia transit visa. The process is simple, and you may be able to obtain a visa on arrival. You must show proof of New Zealand residency, a valid Indian passport, and documentation that you are traveling to Australia. You will also need to supply information about your next destination, such as flight information, hotel reservations, and any other pertinent information. The visa is typically only valid for three to five days, so plan your vacation appropriately.
