Unvaccinated travelers moving to the US through land ports of entry and ferry terminals do not have permission to enter the country.
Unvaccinated people to the US through Canada and Mexico borders may not enter the country, and the decision has been extended.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has issued the order. DHS announced that vaccination requirement is still required for non-US citizens when entering the US through land ports of entry.
According to the CDC and other federal guidelines, the DHS has announced that the measure is still necessary to keep US citizens from the Covid-19.
The law was announced on January 22, 2022. It was required that travelers are moving to the US by land ports of entry submit proof of Ovid-19 vaccination approved by the CDC.
Some people are for, and some are against the issue. The second group says that is hypocritical and prevents tourists from moving to the country. This is while the first group indicates that is is necessary to keep public health safety.
Passengers moving to the US need to present a negative PCR test 72 hours before entering the country. Having a covid-19 vaccination certificate is still mandatory.
