Who Needs and Does not Need a Brazil Visa?

If you are a national of the above list and stay for up to 90 days in one year, you don’t need a Brazil visa. In case you want to stay longer than 90 days, apply for a Brazil long-stay visa.

The type of visa depends on the purpose of your visit.

Exempted Countries for 30 or 60 Day stay Within One Year.

If you are a national of the below list, you don’t need a Brazil visa for 30 days stay in one year:

  • Indonesia
  • Kazakhstan
  • Singapore

The nationals of Venezuela are also exempt from 60 days stays over one year.

If your country does not come in any of the above lists, then you must apply for a Brazil short-stay visa. The type depends on the purpose of your visit. It could be business, tourist, etc.

If you need to stay longer, you must apply for an appropriate long-stay visa. The type depends on the purpose of your visit.
