The program allows you to change your job and be unemployed for a few months and does not require you to be continuously employed. The Graduate Route also enables Ph.D. students to stay in the Uk for three years.
The UK government aims to attract 600.000 international students working in the country by 2030, and the program paves the way to do so. The government plans to welcome international students from all over the world and create good working and living opportunities for them to stay and build a strong economy and workforce.
Last year, 56,000 Indian students received a UK student visa. That is a 13% increase compared with the previous year and is a quarter of the total issued student visas.
