H-1B visa permits US employers to hire or bring highly skilled workers worldwide as long as they are eligible for it.
There is an annual cap for an H-1B visa, which is 65.000 visas. The statistics released by the authorities indicate that a large proportion of people could use the H-1B visa; whether employees or employers.
The USCIS has announced that the number of received registrations is enough. So the registration is over and ready for the 2023 fiscal year.
The released data says that the USCIS has received about 85.000 registrations for the next year. This number is a lot more than the quota.

Selected
It indicates that the officials selected the application during the lottery. Now employers have to submit and complete the H-1V petition to USCIS within 90 days. Employers can access the H-1B form from April 1 until June 30.
Submitted
The submitted pens are reserved if USCIS doesn’t receive a petition for the selected applications.
Denied
USCIS did not accept the application and refused it from the beginning.
Invalidated-Failed Payment
The applications were accepted, but the officials did not receive the payment, or the way was not accepted or disrupted.
