France and a few EU countries open embassies in Ukraine

What countries open embassies in Ukraine?

France and a few EU countries have opened their embassies in Ukraine. The visa application services have been resumed after the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
The French embassy is located in Kyiv, and it has opened the door to the Ukrainian people now and issue France visa. However, the government has urged the French not to travel to Ukraine until further notice.

Before closing the embassy, the French embassy was moved to Lviv and had been offering services since February 28.

The re-open is due to the fact that the city is no longer under threat from the Russian troops. French Ambassador Etienne de Poncins has announced it in an interview with the French Info.

Besides France, a few other EU countries have opened their embassies and consulates in Ukraine. The Netherlands is the next one that its embassy in Lyv is open now and provides services. However, they have not started their services in the capital, Kyiv. The Dutch embassy was moved to Lyv on February 22 and then moved to Poland.

Belgium has also announced that they will open their embassy in Ukraine in March. Italy and Slovenia also want to open their embassies and start providing services.
