Ukrainian nationals can apply for one-year permission to reside in the United Arab Emirates under a unique procedure, according to the Ukrainian embassy in the UAE.
According to the embassy, Ukrainian nationals can apply for a one-year resident visa under particular rules for nations impacted by conflicts and natural catastrophes, citing the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
Because of Ukraine’s unusual predicament, the UAE government has chosen to intervene and “play its role.” Therefore, the application may be made at any of the Tas’heel centers situated around Dubai.
According to a decision enacted in 2018, stranded visitors who arrived earlier in the UAE can also apply for a visa without being fined. In addition, it claimed that people from crisis-affected nations and conflict zones are eligible for a one-year visa in the UAE to better their living circumstances until they are ready to return home.
“We sincerely thank the UAE government and management for their sympathy and assistance for Ukrainian nationals attempting to better their living standards before going home,” the embassy stated.
A couple of paperwork will be necessary to apply for the one-year resident permit. According to the embassy, a price of 150 Dirhams ($41) would be charged, in addition to the medical examination and insurance payments.
The UAE resident must also provide a copy of their valid passport, a color photo, proof of their medical fitness, and a copy of their health insurance policy when they visit the Tas’heel Center.
Furthermore, you will need a valid passport copy valid for at least six months, a color photo, a medical fitness report, a copy of the UAE resident’s health insurance policy, and the Emirates ID application form, which must be filled out when you visit the Tas’heel.
“Sending an airplane with medical supplies and humanitarian assistance is part of the UAE’s persistent commitment to important humanitarian requirements in situations affecting civilians,” said Salem A Al-Kaabi, the UAE’s Ambassador to Ukraine.
“To respect its ideals and assist visitors to the UAE, The Adecco Group now permits employees in the nation to offer positions that are only available to Ukrainians.”
