Types of Canada visas

Temporary Canada Visa

Canada Temporary visa is a stamp on the passport. It allows people to enter Canada for a short time, up to six months.

5. eTA – Electronic Travel Authorization

The countries that do not need to apply for a visa and have a good relationship with Canada receive eTA. The eTA lets you apply and enter Canada fast. You will not go through many red tapes in the eTA application process.


What are the Temporary Canada Visa Requirements?

You must gather a few requirements to get a Temporary Canada Visas. It doesn’t matter what type of temporary visa you apply for. You should meet the standard Canada Visa requirements.

The Temporary Canada Visas requirements are as follows:

  • The applicant must have at least one blank page in his/her passport. It must be other than the last page.
  • If applicant’s documents are not in French or English languages, he/she must have them translated. A verified translator must verify documents as well.
  • The applicant must complete and sign the Visa Application Center Consent Form.
  • You must complete and sign Family Information Form. You will name:
  • Your family members:
    • Their dates of birth
    • Occupations
    • They have been to Canada before.
  • Your current immigration status photocopies.

Proof to have enough funds:

  • You must provide financial documents to verify you can afford travel expenses in Canada.

Applying for a Temporary Canada Visa
