Gather the visa supporting documents.
At this stage, you have to collect the list of supporting documents. Here is the list you have to gather;
- Passport.
It must be valid over the date your course will end in Denmark for at least six months. If it’s not, you need to receive a new one.
- 2. Language proficiency certificate.
It’s up to the university and the course you apply for. Whether it is English or Danish is up to the course.

- Translation.
If your documents are not in any of the following languages, have them translated:

Complete the application form.
Now you need to visit the Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration (SIRI) website.
When you enter the website, you have 3 options:
- Basic and Youth Study
- Higher education for Masters
- Ph.D. studies.
Enter the option that suits your conditions. There is a list of common questions that you might have.
You might want to read them and get as much information as you want. Now, click on the part on How to apply and create a Case Order ID. Complete the blanks with your information to create the case order ID.
Then is the time to pay the fees for visa processing. You can pay it on the SIRI website. But you need your Case Order ID to pay the fees. Now you need to complete the application form.
You have 2 options. To complete the online or printed application form.
In the ST1 online application form, your educational institution must complete the first of the two parts of the form. When your educational institution has completed its part, a reference number and password will be shown.
The educational institution must pass them on to you. Now You’re able to open the online application and complete your part.
Make sure you have all documents ready in digital form in order to attach them as you complete the application form. In the printable application form ST1, your educational institution must complete part 2 of the form.
When your educational institution has completed its part, you must complete your part.
Once parts 1 and 2 have been completed, they must be submitted together.
Submit biometrics.
Now you need to submit your biometrics to the Danish embassy or consulate in your home country. Remember that you have only 14 days to submit your biometrics.
