Denmark visa application process

Step 1. Find the appropriate Denmark visa by your conditions

Step 4. Collect the requirements

Danish officials need to ensure that you are eligible and honest with your application process. So there is a list of documents that prove you are fit to receive a visa and enter Denmark.

You need to gather all of them and submit them to the officials.

The supporting documents must be complete and according to the instructions. Read them carefully and try to make them as the officials want.

Step 5. Submit the application and biometrics

Now you need to complete the application form. You can complete the online or paper one.  The online one is on the SIRI website, and you also need to upload the scanned or digital version of your supporting documents.

You can also complete the paper application. In this case, you need to submit it along with the biometrics to the Danish embassy or a visa center.

When you complete the online application form, you just need to submit your biometrics. Then, applicants will deliver the digital version of the documents as explained.

Schedule a visa meeting with the embassy or visa center in your home country to submit the requirements.

Step 6. Wait for visa processing

Wait until the embassy works on your application and decides to issue it or not. The processing time is different for each visa but at most is seven months.
